Hey there! My name is Megan and I'm the sewing, pattern making girl behind Dolly Henry. This is my blog, where I share my own creative adventures and hope to meet fellow fabric enthusiasts. Sew A Bunny Doll for Easter

With Easter around the corner, I wanted to share my Pixie Pocket sewing pattern. Pixie is a super cute bunny doll and it is rumoured that she is an assistant to the Easter bunny himself! With her sweet little ears and happy face, Pixie is a delight to sew - you can have fun with a lot of different fabric combinations with this little bunny doll!

Pixie features a built-in onesie (how cute is that!) and a removable skirt. Her skirt features a darling little pocket, in which sits her sweet baby bunny. This pocket is also perfect for hiding tiny chocolate eggs...or so she tells me!

The fun thing about Pixie Pocket is that you can make her into an adorable boy bunny, something I have loved when I have had to make gifts for friend's who have had baby boys. It's so difficult to find products or even patterns that have the same cute factor for boys as is so often available for girls! Pixie Pom-Pom as I've called him is the perfect little bunny gift. Simply change up your colours and fabrics, and leave off the skirt and you have a rather dashing little rabbit.

The Pixie Pocket pattern is available in the Dolly Henry online store, in a PDF Instant download version or as a Paper Pattern. The PDF pattern includes a full colour comprehensive photographic guide to ensure no little bunny's tug their ears while sewing.
