Apple Farm Fabric

I was so happy when the Apple Farm Collection landed in my mail box. One amazing fat quarter bundle of fabric-y goodness! Elea Lutz has done it again, with a gorgeous vintage/retro inspired print range in beautifully mixed pastel hues and bold contrasts. The line features green/yellow, pink/red and cocoa/brown colour ways...all the prints work wonderfully together so this is a collection I definitely think you need a bundle or charm pack of (at the very least!)

Perfect for fussy cutting and patchwork projects, the prints feature tiny florals, apples, sweet little ducks, cute plaids and the dearest little bear friends working hard picking those sweet delicious doubt off to make Apple pie!

I'm really excited to be taking part in the Apple Farm blog hop, which kicks off August 8th. Above is a sneak peek of what I have been working on, I'm rather excited! And I also pinched a little bit of my favourite Apple print from the collection, as it was perfect for the binding of this quilt that I have been working on for quite some time. Incidentally, this quilt will have fabric from Elea's Milk, Sugar, Flower Collection, Strawberry Biscuit Collection and now, the Apple Farm collection. Her fabrics blend beautifully together! This is my first ever *proper* quilt so I'm itching to finish it! It's a gift and I hope to make this years deadline! I will however, do a separate post on this and will leave you now to get your skates on, find your nearest Apple Farm stockist and get ready to sew along and be inspired on the Apple Farm blog hop!

P.S. I am taking a bit of an Instagram sabbatical at the moment so if it gets quiet on there, you'll know why! P.P.S. Sabbatical sounds much more important than 'a break' does it not? P.P.P.S. Actually I don't have anything more to say!

  1. Now here are some browns I could get excited about! I can't wait to see that dolly in full - she's going to be sooo pretty!

    1. Oh they are beautiful prints Michelle! I can't wait for everyone to see the dolly in full, I have to think of a name for her :-)
